The brewery is drawing from the tragic history of the area. In 1899, False Creek extended from Main Street to where the brewhouse sits today. The East Bridge connected farmlands to the south side of the city and to the north, Gastown. The bridge collapsed, killing nine people. According to Strange Fellows, some of those killed were a team of brewers making a beer delivery to Gassy Jack’s Saloon in Gastown. The ghosts of brewers who perished have returned, making the disturbing presence known in the brewery.

I just wanted to add to chilliwacks reapers haunted house….zombie combat zone is back, and we have a paintball cornmaze this year at fantasy farms.
Hey Wendy,
There’s a cool Halloween event happening at Strange Fellows Brewing in East Van this year too. They’re turning the 10,00 sqft brewery into a Haunted House from October 27th-31st. They also are offering a family friendly reduced scare on the weekend through the days for kids. It looks like its gonna be pretty cool
The Tasting Room will also be decorated for the scary season for the entirety of October.
Thank you,
Polly
That sounds like a great fun event
